1. Return Policy

a. Eligibility for Return

You may request a return if:

  • You received the wrong product
  • The product is damaged, defective, or expired
  • The product is not as described
  • You received an incomplete order

Note: Items must be returned in their original condition, unused, and with all original tags and packaging intact.

b. Return Window

Returns must be requested within 7 days of the delivery date. Some products may have different return windows or may not be returnable (refer to non-returnable items below).

c. Non-Returnable Items

  • Perishable goods (food, flowers, etc.)
  • Personal care and hygiene products
  • Innerwear, lingerie, and swimwear
  • Gift cards, downloadable software, or digital products
  • Customized or made-to-order items

2. Refund Policy

a. Refund Process

Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will:

  • Approve the return if it meets the conditions
  • Initiate a refund to your original payment method or Abekant wallet (as chosen)

Processing Time:

  • Refunds are typically processed within 5–7 business days after the item is received and approved.

b. Partial Refunds

In certain cases, partial refunds may be granted (if applicable), such as:

  • Item not in original condition
  • Missing parts or accessories not due to our error

3. Exchange Policy

Exchanges are only allowed for the same product in case of damage, defect, or wrong item received. If you want a different product, please return the item and place a new order.


4. How to Initiate a Return

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Abekant account
  2. Go to My Orders > Select the order > Click Return/Replace
  3. Choose reason for return and upload supporting photos (if needed)
  4. Our team will review and arrange pickup (if applicable)

5. Return Shipping

  • If the return is due to an error on our side (damaged, wrong item, etc.), we will arrange free pickup or reimburse return shipping.
  • If the return is due to buyer’s change of mind, the return shipping cost will be borne by the customer (if accepted by the seller).

6. Seller-Specific Policies

As a multi-seller marketplace, certain sellers may have their own return and refund policies. These will be visible on the product page or at checkout. We recommend reviewing seller policies before making a purchase.


7. Cancellations

You may cancel your order before it is shipped. Once shipped, the order cannot be canceled but may be eligible for return based on the policy above.
